A Towering Rock Islands View

Have you ever or at least once dreamed to experience a vacation wherein you can hear the calming waves on the shore while seeing some towering rock islands view in front of you? or even atleast experience a stay in Thailand's famous "Phuket Island". Probably your answer would be YES! That would be one of the best place and experience I could ever imagine. The majestic view and a calming atmosphere, the best! But for some reason, we are in the Philippines, the pandemic, or even the money you could spend to experience that view could range up to unimaginable heights, yep, the harsh reality in travelling though LOL. No need to worry though, who would've know that here in the Philippines you can have a little glimpse of experiencing what the popular Phucket Island could offer. to you, from its top-notch customer service, the sea and the main character, the Towering Rock Island Views! How great is that! Here I will share what we have experienced in our stay there at Caluwayan, Marabut, Western Samar.

The Travel

We woke up at around 4:30am last Thursday, March 18, 2021, because we will be going to our destination. 5o'clock in the morning, at this time, all of us who went to the trip don't know where we will go. All that we knew is that we will be having an overnight stay somewhere, all our ideas is that we will be going somewhere in Tolosa, let me name it as the "Ill-gotten Beach" because of it's dark past about being one of the owners ill-gotten wealth hehehe... So much for that, we departed early because the place where we will be going is around 3hours far from our place and also we need to arrive there as early as possible, obviously to avoid the scorching heat of the sun. When we arrived at Ormoc City to have a gasoline refill, some unexpected thing happened (incorrect amount of bill) and it took us almost an hour to settle it.

At around 10am, we arrived there at New Life Baptist Church, Tacloban City and have us take some rest. After that we then went on to go in our destination (still we don't know where we will be going). Then as we are going there our Pastor/Driver told us that we will be going there in Samar, from Leyte to Samar, for another time we passed the famous San Juanico Bridge and enjoyed the view below it. At that point, the place started to seem unfamiliar, but in our awe as we travelled, we started seeing seashores and then some beaches, then there it is! The Rocky Islands in Caluwayan, Marabut, Western Samar.

Off to Caluwayan: If you're happy and you know it......

Then there it is! We arrived in our destination! All of us....

"Wowwww!!!! Ka-nice sa viewww...."

"Mura man ug Phucket and datingan!"

Almost all of us forgot that it's already past 12pm and we still haven't taken our lunch. So to make the story short, we had our lunch, and then we went to Caluwayan Palm Island Resort and Restaurant and have a quick stay to take some photo and enjoy the scenery it can offer. Here are some of the things we had.

Conclusion:

Before taking our sleep at a not so far beach from the Caluwayan Palm Island Resort and Restaurant, we had our usual devotion there. We gave thanks to the Lord for the opportunity we had to enjoy His creation, the life and the daily provision He had given us despite the undeniable crisis we are all experiencing due to CoVid-19. Aside from that we also learned from our pastor a wisdom he shared to us "A comes first to B, because Attitude comes first to Beauty." Indeed, people nowadays, as we can observe, most of us tend to look more for what we can improve in our physical aspect of life, the beauty that satisfies the lust of the eyes, the mouth and actions of pretending to be good for the sake of being "accepted" in a worldly perspective, without even having enough time nourishing our spirits, the attitude in praying and making it a part in our daily life.
